The Specialist, Advertising and Search assists with developing digital media strategies for our clients and then executes on those strategies by placing media buys across paid search, social, display and programmatic platforms. They also assess which media campaigns are performing well using analytics tools, and then optimize those campaigns to ensure the best use of media dollars for our clients. This is a growth role where a specialist is given the opportunity to solidify the fundamentals of digital advertising while learning best practices from their managers and gaining real-world experience in the day to day operations of advertising campaigns. This position interacts and collaborates with other departments at our full-service digital marketing agency, thus giving exposure to other areas of the agency.

What You’ll Do

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with developing, optimizing and maintaining paid media campaigns for clients in multiple verticals
  • Execute keyword research, ad copy writing, landing page optimization and bid management
  • Brainstorm/research targeting and copy ideas for specific campaigns
  • Assist with developing, executing and testing across campaign variables that create client-specific insights and feed future successions of testing
  • Create and update monthly performance reports, articulating insights to managers, directors and the account services team
  • Analyze Google Analytics trends to help amplify results of paid media campaigns
  • Assist in researching and creating client media plans with managers and directors
  • Keep on top of industry news and develop POVs to communicate relevant updates to the team

 Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Paid Search/Social/Display campaign management (at least 1 channel, preferably multiple)
  • At least one year of digital analytics / reporting experience (Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with SEO is a plus
  • Google Ads Certification a plus or willing to acquire in the first 6 months of being hired
  • Ability to effectively communicate processes and tactics to peers, managers, directors, and other team members
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Willingness to jump into new platforms and learn new skills; curious
