Marketing Strategist Ray Figlewski has a decade of experience in marketing and management and worked in a variety of industries prior to joining Rebel. Ray’s experience in the fine arts and publishing industries helped build the skills that he now uses in planning strategic marketing campaigns for clients.

Ray never misses a chance to seize a new opportunity, a quality he exercises both at work and in his personal life. Ray’s ability to calculate the risk, take a big leap, and emerge victorious is an innate skill he demonstrated as far back as his college years, when he transferred from a Connecticut college to DePaul University in Chicago. This is where he got his start as an apprentice to Chicago artist Brian Kerrigan, hand-making ceramic tiles. At the time, Ray believed his destiny was to be a potter, but lucky for us at Rebel, his career path took a different turn.

Ray has since spent time in management roles and as a marketing director, eventually leading him to Rebel. The most important part of his job now? “It is my hope to use my eclectic skillset to help my fellow Rebels produce quality work for our clients with respect and empathy.”

Outside of the office, Ray can be found pursuing his other passion, writing: “Whether a quick anecdote or working on my novel, it doesn’t matter, using words as puzzle pieces to paint a world has always been a cathartic process for me.” Ray also spends his free time on impromptu adventures with his wife, and playing with his two dogs and cat: Luna, Sadie, and JuneBug. (Our main question: when does he find time to sleep?)
